Which districts are suitable for ‘small capacity pumps’ with government subsidy?

1 HP and sub-HP pumps could help marginal farmers meet their needs and could also be put to use for lift irrigation, provided there is access to surface water. With government subsidy support, these pumps become more affordable to marginal farmers even without loan-based financing. The tool filters all districts where ‘Post monsoon water level‘ is more than 50 percentile which corresponds to water table of less than 5 meter below ground level. This ensures the economic viability of the pump.
