Which districts are suitable for ‘Climate Resilient Farming for Small Farms’?

Solar pumps can advance the cause of low-carbon agriculture and improve climate resilience. The tool is filtering for all districts where the ‘Proportion of small and marginal farmers‘ is greater than 85%. These districts are the most vulnerable group to climate change. They will benefit the most from climate-resilient farming practices. Additionally, the tool also filters districts where ‘Climate Change Vulnerability Index by Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA)‘ is greater than 0.459. This value captures the exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity of the district to climate change.
